Lecturer Workspace

Prepare a semester in an afternoon.

Course plans, lecture notes, slides, question banks and marking schemes, drafted from the textbook you choose or the notes you upload. You review and edit everything.

Pilot in progress Free for lecturers at pilot universities during the pilot.

Where it fits

Make it in AfroAI. Deliver it on your university platform.

AfroAI does not replace your learning management system. It helps with the hours of preparation that happen before anything is posted, and it gives students a study partner between lectures.

Step 01

Prepare in AfroAI

Course outline, lecture notes, slides, question bank and marking scheme, drafted from a real textbook or your own notes. You review and edit everything.

Step 02

Deliver on your university platform

Download the Word document or slides and post them where your students already look. Records, submissions and grades stay in the official system.

Step 03

Students revise in AfroAI

Students ask questions of the course textbook, make flashcards, practise questions, and listen to the audio notes you share.

What you can build

Five tools. Real files at the end of each.

Course plans

A week-by-week semester outline, 8 or 16 weeks, with learning outcomes, timed class activities and a checkpoint each week. Matched to NUC CCMAS where the standard is available. Edit or regenerate any week. Download as .docx.

Lecture notes

Full written notes from the chapters you pick, with the talking points you want emphasised. Download as .docx and edit in Word.

Slide decks

A real PowerPoint file (.pptx), fully editable, built from the same chapters. Half-book or full-book coverage.

Question banks and exam papers

Multiple choice, short answer, essay and true or false, with marks per type and a spread from recall to analysis. Edit, delete or add any question, then arrange a bank into an exam paper with sections and instructions. Download as .docx.

Marking schemes

A marking guide generated from any exam paper or question bank. Editable, downloadable as .docx.

Sharing and sources

Share with your class. Bring your own notes.

Classrooms

A classroom is a private group for one course. Add students by the email they signed up with, make up to three course reps admins, and share any plan, material or assignment to the class.

Your own documents

Upload PDF, Word, PowerPoint, Excel or plain text, up to 10 MB each, and generate from your notes instead of a platform textbook.

Papers stay private

Assignments and exam papers you share are deliberately hidden from the AI chat. A student cannot ask AfroAI to answer your assignment.

Honest limit. Student progress reports for lecturers are not built yet. We are building them with pilot feedback.

Questions lecturers ask

Straight answers.

We already have a university learning platform. Why do we need this?
Your platform is where teaching is delivered and recorded. AfroAI is where the preparation happens: it drafts the plan, notes, slides and questions that you then post there. It also gives students a tutor for the hours between lectures.
Will students use it to cheat?
Assignments and exam papers you share are kept out of the AI's reach, so students cannot ask it to solve them. The student tools are built for understanding and practice: explanations, quizzes and flashcards.
Can I trust what it writes?
It works from the textbook you choose, not from random websites, and every draft is yours to check and edit before anyone sees it. Treat it as a fast first draft from a capable assistant. You remain the expert.
Does it follow the NUC curriculum?
Course plans draw on the national course standards where they are available for your course, and on the textbook you select. Always compare the outline with your approved course description.
What does it cost?
Free for lecturers at pilot universities. Outside the pilot, Lecturer Standard is ₦3,000 a month and Lecturer Premium is ₦5,000 a month. 16-week plans and full-book notes are part of Premium.
Can I see how my students are doing?
Not yet. Today AfroAI helps you prepare and share. Student progress reports for lecturers are something we want to build with your feedback from the pilot.
